Implemented grant projects

In this part of the country, the following subsidies have already been implemented within the support of the SFŽP (STATE ENVIRONMENT FUND) and SZIF (STATE AGRICULTURAL INTERVENTION FUND). The implementation of these projects is carried out by several companies that operate here. This is the company Leoš Novotný a.s. , Leoš Novotný – a self-employed farmer and the Association for the Protection of White Carpathian Meadows z.s.

SMALL WATER AREAS (POND AND WETLANDS) – OBORA RADĚJOV – II. + III. STAGE

The project is focused on the creation of small water areas, which will serve to retain water in the landscape and at the same time improve the hydrological conditions of the area. The implementation of the project will increase biodiversity and strengthen the ecostabilization function of the adjacent landscape.
This project is co-financed by the European Union – European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Environment.

IMPROVEMENT OF SECONDARY COMPOSITION IN THE FORESTS OF THE SOUTHWESTER PART OF THE WHITE CARPATHIAN PLA – I. – III. STAGE

The subject of the projects is the improvement of the current species composition of the existing forested areas with the aim of increasing the share of oak in these areas. A larger share of deciduous trees (especially the planting of winter oak) will approach the original tree composition in this locality and reduce the share of non-native coniferous tree species. As part of the projects, at least 25,000 winter oaks were planted.

These projects are co-financed by the European Union – the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Environment and were implemented in the years 2017 – 2019.

MEASURES TO SUPPORT RARE SPECIES IN THE FORESTS OF THE SOUTHWEST OF THE PLA – II. AND III. STAGE

The project is a loose continuation of the construction of ponds and wetlands. The construction of measures is intended to facilitate the process of occupying newly built reservoirs, especially rare species of animals that occur in the locality.

This project is co-financed by the European Union – European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Environment.

INCREASE OF BIODIVERSITY IN THE FORESTS OF THE SOUTHWESTER PART OF THE WHITE CARPATHIAN PLA

The project is focused on improving the conditions in the locality to create a quality habitat that will offer adequate natural conditions for the development of common and rare organisms.

This project is co-financed by the European Union – European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Environment.

SUPPORT OF BIODIVERSITY IN THE FORESTS OF THE SOUTHWESTER PART OF THE WHITE CARPATHIAN PLA – II. AND III. STAGE
PLANTING OF EXTENSIVE ORCHARDS AND MEADOWS

The project addresses the strengthening of the ecological stability of the landscape, through the creation of new landscape elements in the affected areas. The interventions proposed in the project lead to an increase in the number and diversity of landscape elements. The overall effect of the measures will significantly contribute to the development and increase of ecological stability. As part of the project, 711 original tree species were planted.

This project is co-financed by the European Union – European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Environment.

IMPROVEMENT OF SECONDARY COMPOSITION IN THE FORESTS OF THE SOUTHWESTER PART OF THE WHITE CARPATHIAN PLA – II. + III. STAGE

Improving the current species composition of existing wooded areas in order to increase the share of oak and cherry in these areas. Due to the higher proportion of conifers, there is a real risk of damage caused by adverse climatic conditions and damage caused by other abiotic or biotic influences. The planting of winter oak and bird cherry will increase the share of deciduous trees in the area.

This project is co-financed by the European Union – European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Environment.
